Trade Stands

CAMBORNE SHOW SOCIETY - Trading Terms & Conditions

SITE
Camborne Show Society will provide site space only according to the tariff supplied. The Trade Stand holder is responsible for providing any equipment or fittings required.

SAFETY OF GOODS & FIRE PROTECTION
The Camborne Show Society will not be, in any way, responsible for the safety of any goods or equipment belonging to, or being delivered to, the trader. The trader is responsible for providing fire protection in respect of his/her Trade
Stand area. All units are liable to a visit by the Show Fire Safety and Health & Safety Officers.

ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
All electrical items operated on the Showground must display a current PAC test certificate. Generators are permitted within the Showground but must not cause a disturbance to other Trade Stands or the public. If in the view of the Show Ground Director such a nuisance is caused the Director can insist on the generator being turned off.

RISK ASSESSMENT
Trade stand holders will be responsible for completing a risk assessment of their stand. A copy of all risk assessments will be held in the Show Office office.

STAFF 
The Trader is responsible for the behaviour of his/her employees. Polite, efficient & speedy service is paramount throughout the Show.

​

SUPERVISION
Trade Stands positioned incorrectly will not be permitted to open for business until they are relocated to their allocated sites. All sites will be numbered prior to the commencement of the show.

MOVEMENT ON SITE
All vehicle movements within the Showground must cease by 8:30am on Show Day. No further vehicle movements are permitted until 5pm – unless expressly permitted  by the Showground Director.

 

WIFI ACCESS
If you choose to purchase access to the Show’s TRADER WIFI, you must not disseminate the details of such beyond the bounds of your own trade operation. Failure to comply may mean you would not be permitted access to Trader Wifi in subsequent shows.

SITE CLEARANCE 
Trade Stand holders are responsible for ensuring that all sites allocated to them are cleared of equipment and fittings and all rubbish is removed at the end of the Show.

CONDITIONS 
The Camborne Show Society reserves the right to cancel any contract in the event of unforeseen circumstances rendering it desirable not to hold a Show, or in the event of the Trader not complying with the agreed conditions.

CANCELLATION
In the event of the cancellation of the Show prior to the designated Show Day, there will be a refund of the amount paid, but if cancelled at any other time, or if only part of the Show is cancelled, there will be no refund and all tenders will be payable. Traders are advised to insure against loss due to cancellation.

COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS
Failure to comply with any of the Camborne Show Society Regulations may lead to immediate removal without recompense.


RESPONSIBILITY
Exhibitors, competitors, hirers or contractors must ensure they hold suitable Public Liability Insurance (and where appropriate suitable Employers Liability Insurance).
Neither the Camborne Show Society, nor any of its Officers or Servants, shall be in any way responsible or accountable for anything that may happen from any infectious or contagious disease, or any other cause, or circumstance whatever to Exhibitors or their Servants, or to any animal or article exhibited or property brought onto the Showground; or otherwise for anything else in connection with, or arising out of or attributable to, the Camborne Show, or these or any other conditions or regulations described in relation thereto; each Exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any consequential or other loss, injury, or damage done to, or occasioned by, or arising from, any animal or article exhibited by him, including any infectious or contagious disease, and shall indemnify the Camborne Show against all legal or other proceedings in regard hereto.
